Parcent is a small picture postcard rural village with a population of around 900, nestled between orange and almond groves in the Jalon Valley, also known as the Vall del Pop. It is less than 15 minutes from Orba and from Jalon by car and only a few kms more to the beach at Denia on the North Costa Blanca, Marina Alta. There is a well known artisan bodega in Parcent very popular (apparently) with USA American executives that like buying each other bottles as presents as a status symbol! As with all Spanish villages, there is a very vibrant culture with great inclusive fiesta celebrations where everyone is welcome. They also run an open aire cinema in the main square during the summer months showing a range of movies in spanish and original languages.
