Alicante Christmas Market is an event not to be missed amongst the Costa Blanca North

Alicante's Christmas Market transforms the city center with beautiful decorations, artisanal stalls, and traditional food. Visitors can enjoy ice skating, family-friendly activities, and festive concerts in the city's heart.

The whole Costa Blanca comes to life at Christmas; however, don´t miss out on one of the main capitals, either Alicante or Valencia, for the lights and the Christmas feeling, with all the festivities these cities include.

Amongst these events is the traditional 5th of January parade with the Three Kings. This parade is well known amongst most of the villages within the area. However, the parade in Alicante is one not to be missed. You need to get there early for a position along the sidewalk. Another location not to be missed is Alcoy, the oldest ""Cabalgata of the Reyes Magos"", and it includes the traditional offering of presents using Ninots that climb up to people´s apartments to give the children presents, the climbing is done with builder´s steps along the walls of the street that access people´s apartments through the windows. I myself enjoyed this event one year, and it has remained in my mind as one of the most magical events of the year treasured and loved by all.

Valencia comes to light with festivities also at Christmas, and this Christmas in particular having been through the Dana is to be enjoyed and cherished by most residents. People all over the area have gathered gifts for the children, and their families, various sponsored events have been organized, and charities are undergoing dues to gain funding for those in need. Hence, do not miss out on Valencia's capital as the city will be putting to one side their problems and making the most of this year´s festivities.
