MITT Fair in Moscow has been one of the epicenters of the international tourism sector during the last few days, and has received the presence of several of the Ambassadors of the Provincial Board of Alicante. This was done as a means of highlighting the potential of tourism in the province of Alicante, in especially the Costa Blanca, which has existed for several years being that it is one of the favorite destinations for Russian holidaymakers.

During the fair, the Regional department of the Provincial Council of Alicante has met with major tour operators of the Russian country, well known names such as Vand International or Vremya to exchange experiences. They wish to advertise well know areas in the province of Alicante, such as Benidorm, Calpe, Javea, Moraira or Altea among the most prominent.

In addition, the province of Alicante has also had a presence at the fair through the Costa Blanca Novosti Journal, which offers marketing of all 141 municipalities of the province of Alicante.

Note that in 2015 the number of Russian visitors who came to the Costa Blanca through the Airport "El Altet" was 169,905 passengers, 14.3% more than during the same period last year.
